Former Olympic-level athlete, Melanie  Rinaldi, is a two-time national champion, four-time international medalist, and 2009 ACC Athlete of the Year and MVP, who competes at a top international level in the sport of springboard and platform diving.

For 20 years, she trained full-time to maintain her status on Canada’s national team, at one point ranking 4th in the world. The demands on her body led to three reconstructive surgeries in her knee and shoulder, as well as a rigid thoracic, compressed low back and hip.

When Melanie discovered the GYROTONIC® Method, she immediately saw an improvement in the movement of her spine and joints. She then introduced it into her training regimen as a method of wellness and rehabilitation.

Watch to learn more about the ways in which this method transformed Melanie’s training, improved her scores, and launched her to an international medal.

When I found Gyrotonic it gave me my spirit back.

The Gyrotonic®Method is an original and unique movement method that addresses the entire person, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and improving strength and movement efficiency.

Trained GYROTONIC® instructor, Hayley Oxley, creates personalised sessions tailored to your needs, whether it's rehabilitation from injury, a need to build strength and stamina, or wanting to keep fit and flexible. If you live in or around Hove, Brighton why not get in touch?
